Yaneth Castillo, a native Texan, joined Patrick Daniel Law in 2019 as an Accountant, where she meticulously enters receipts and expenses, prints checks, pays bills, makes sure check requests get submitted for processing, assists the firm administrator, and organizes the budget.
After graduating from the Houston University of Clear Lake in 2010 with a degree in Accounting, a high GPA, and as a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society, Yaneth taught for eight years.
During that time, she went back for her master’s degree in school counseling and graduated in May 2018 from Our Lady of the Lake University. She has worked in multiple school districts over the years. She received several awards, including Teacher of the Year (regionally and for her school), Best Teacher Award, and a Math Distinction from the State of Texas for her students’ state exam results.
When asked what she hopes to achieve in this role, Yaneth says, “I want to grow as an accountant, pursue my passion with numbers, and help the firm by looking at the bigger picture and keep it running efficiently and effectively.”
When she’s not crunching numbers in the office, Yaneth enjoys staying active, recreational sports, math tutoring, and spending time with her three kids.
